This genetic condion leaves her skin is so fragile, the slightest touch or rub can result in painful blisters and open wounds. Sam talks about life with the life limiting condition and how DEBRA have enabled her to live as full a life as possible – even taking in storm chasing.

The film features Jenna, who describes the value of having a DEBRA Community Support worker who helped her learn to care for her baby son Freddie and change his dressings, even when he is in pain. DEBRA also arranged a grant so the family could install carpet that wouldn’t chafe Freddie’s skin. Sam relates to 11-year-old Josh, who is determined not to let his skin condition rule his life. DEBRA has enabled Josh’s family to go on holiday. The charity is appealing for support for its work giving direct help to people living with EB, and for the research it funds into a possible cure.

HOW TO TREAT DANDRUFF AT HOME – Dandruff Medical and Home Remedies.
Dandruff is a skin condition that mainly affects the scalp. Symptoms include flaking and sometimes mild itchiness. It can result in social or self-esteem problems. A more severe form of the condition, which includes inflammation of the skin, is known as seborrhoeic dermatitis.
The cause is unclear, but believed to involve a number of genetic and environmental factors; the condition may worsen in the winter. It is not due to poor hygiene, and the underlying mechanism involves the excessive growth of skin cells.
Diagnosis is based on symptoms.

LIFESTYLE CHANGES TO PREVENT HAIRFALL

FIVE FOODS FOR HAIR LOSS – DIET FOR HEALTHY HAIR

The colour of human hair is due to the pigment “melanin” produced by melanocytes,
the same cells which are responsible for the pigmentation of our skin. There are two main forms of
hair pigment. There’s eumelanin and pheomelanin. Eumelanin is what we see in brunettes and
darker-haired people, and pheomelanin is what we see in blonds and redheads.
These Melanocytes are located in the hair follicle which is basically from where the root of the hair
originates. Each hair grows from a single Hair follicle.
As the strand of the hair grows, melanocytes inject the pigment (melanin) into cells containing
keratin.
Keratin is the protein that makes up our hair, skin, and nails. Throughout the years,
melanocytes continue to inject pigment into the hair’s keratin, giving it a colorful hue.
With age comes a reduction of melanin. The hair turns grey and eventually white, and this is a
natural process. But the problem arises when this reduction in the production of melanin comes
early in age due to some other reasons and there are plenty of reasons due to which this can occur.
Let’s look at some of the most common reasons for premature greying of hair.
