Kim Kardashian Feared She'd Be "Raped & Killed" During Paris Robbery In EMOTIONAL KUWTK Episode

More Celebrity News ►► http://bit.ly/SubClevverNews

In last night’s highly anticipated episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim recounted the robbery revealing that she mentally prepared herself to be raped and to lose her life.
The episode was chilling and the family chimed in on social media to share their thoughts.
Kim recalled the traumatic night saying that while sitting alone in her hotel room, she heard footsteps shuffling up the stairs. After getting a feeling that something wasn’t right, two men dressed in police uniforms barged inside of her door while holding the concierge down in handcuffs. After talking to the concierge following the robbery, Kim learned that the robbers were able to gain access into the room after threatening the concierge and asking “Where is the rapper’s wife?” The concierge also became the translator between Kim and the robber’s because neither parties could understand one another due to the language barrier. The concierge relayed the message to Kim that the robbers wanted her ring which was lying on the table. After they retrieved it, they then dragged Kim out to the hallway at the top of the stairs and it was at that moment that Kim realized they were armed. She then contemplated running for her life but feared that they would shoot her in the back because if the elevator didn’t open in time or if the stairs were locked, there was no way out. They then took Kim back inside of the room while Kim pleaded with the concierge to talk to the robbers saying QUOTE – “I have babies. Please, they can’t understand me, but tell them I have babies at home. Please, I have a family. Let me live!” The robber’s then placed duct tape around Kim’s mouth to stifle her screaming.
Kim went on to explain that the robber then duct taped her legs together before raising the gun to her head. Kim said that in that moment she fully believed that he was going to shoot her and prayed that Kourtney would be able to have a normal life after seeing her dead body lying on the bed once she returned. Thankfully the robber’s did not and instead carried her duct taped body into the bathtub and left the premises after gathering her jewelry. Minutes later, her body guard arrived with Kourtney and Kendall and they called the police. Kris recounted receiving the horrific phone call in the middle of the night saying it was QUOTE – “The worst night of my life.” The family then flew straight home that night after all of the police work was done and Kim immediately wanted to see her kids. As they were riding up the elevator to see North and Saint, Kim told Kanye that she didn’t want to cry in front of the kids or give them any indication that something was wrong. She said QUOTE – “I think it’ll scare them if they start seeing more security. I just want to see them for a second.” Kim then expressed how grateful she is to have lived through the nightmare and to have the love and support of her family while noting that all of the material things are replaceable and none of it matters.

NFL Worst Injuries of Week 2

injuries No Comments »

This has to be some sort of record for season ending/serious injuries in a week. I tried to only include the most notable/serious ones. Also, there were some injuries that I couldn’t exactly pinpoint where they happened such as Malik Hooker’s. Let me know if you guys know exactly when they got hurt and I might make a part 2 if SNF and MNF have more injuries (I hope not).

Knee injury ,Injuries – Everything You Need To Know – Dr. Nabil Ebraheim

injuries No Comments »

Dr. Ebraheim’s educational animated video describing the anatomy and associated injuries of the knee joint.
Disrupted quadriceps
•Patient is unable to actively extend the knee.
The most common cause of ACL ruptures:
•Traumatic force being applied during twisting motion.
•Side stepping or landing from a jump.
Patient complains of:
•Immediate pain
•Knee giving way
•Swelling
Aspiration of the knee
•If aspiration of the knee joint shows evidence of blood within the joint there is 75-80% chance of ACL and meniscal injury.
Lachamn’s test- ACL knee exam
•Knee is flexed at 30 degrees.
•ACL tear of the knee is identified by pulling on the tibia and examining the frontward motion of the lower leg in comparison to the upper leg.
Radiological exam – ACL
•MRI of the knee joint shows bone lesions or bruising associated with tears of the ACL. Injury is found in the typical location; middle of the femoral condyle and posterior part of the tibia laterally.
Posterior cruciate ligament tear (PCL)
•Common cause of injury is a bent knee hitting a dashboard in a car accident.
Tibial Sag Test –PCL knee exam
Quadriceps active test-PCL knee exam
•The examiner stabilizes the leg of the patient and then the patient is asked to actively contract the quadriceps muscle.
•The tibia is seen actively reduced from the posterior subluxed position.
Lachman’s test-PCL knee exam
•Knee is bent 20-30 degrees.
•The posterior drawer test is carried out while the patient is in a supine position and the knee is flexed to 90 degrees.
•The amount of translation of the tibia relative to the femur is observed.
The dial test is performed while the patient is in the supine or prone position and both knees are in 90 and 30 degrees of flexion. More than 10 degrees of external rotation indicates significant injury.
Common meniscal tears
Symptoms include
•Knee pain
•Pain with straightening the knee
•Swelling
•Locking
•Weakness

KT Tape: Rotator Cuff

injuries No Comments »

The rotator cuff is the group of muscles and their tendons that act to stabilize the shoulder. These muscles are relatively small, yet are extremely important in all shoulder movements. They start at the shoulder blade and connect to the upper arm in a fashion that forms a “cuff” to provide the needed stability and mechanics of the shoulder. To further explain the vital nature of these muscles, understand that the shoulder joint is much like a golf ball sitting on a tee. This design is necessary for the wide range of motion needed from the arm, but inherently creates a relatively unstable joint. The rotator cuff muscles are the muscles responsible for countering this unstable state. Though often thought to be an injury related specifically to athletic activity, incidence of rotator cuff injury is just as high in non-athletic populations.

Rotator cuff injuries generally involve many factors. Incidences of injury increases with age and degeneration of the tendons, but younger individuals with this condition have likely overused the shoulder joint or have developed muscle imbalances or poor biomechanics. Causes include muscle tears, overuse, hyperextension or hyperflexion of the shoulder, poor throwing form, among others. The tendons at the ends of the rotator cuff muscles can become torn or inflamed and lead to pain or restricted arm movement. Torn rotator cuffs can also occur following acute trauma to the shoulder, or more commonly through the overuse of the tendons. Athletes or individuals that frequently make repeated throwing motions, swinging motions, or explosive pushing or pulling motions are especially at high risk. Swimming, racquet sports, and throwing sports are all good examples of activities with high incidents of rotator cuff problems.

Rotator cuff pain presents as pain among the muscles in the shoulder that are responsible for rotation and lifting. Pain is generally felt at the front and outside of the shoulder or in the shoulder itself. Symptoms include pain, weakness, raised shoulders, and decreased range of motion. The pain is made worse with activities requiring the arm to operate overhead or out in front of the body. Clicking, catching, or snapping are rare symptoms in rotator cuff injuries and may be indicative of other problems such as a torn labrum or fracture.

Early diagnosis and action is essential to prevent irreparable damage. KT Tape can be used during the healing process to create stability, relieve pressure, increase circulation, and relax the overworked or strained muscle. Icing after activity and rest are essential and should be combined with NSAIDs to combat inflammation and pain. After the initial healing process has completed, a strengthening rehab program should be implemented.
